This is one of my favorite soups ever. It's very easy to prepare on a weeknight. I served it with a garlic smeared baguette and top with shaved parmesan.

This sounds like a super bright-tasting soup. I'm trying it as soon as I find some good asparagus!

Have you tried adding any herbs to it? I've had trouble pairing asparagus with any aromatic besides garlic because asparagus has such an assertive flavor on its own, but I bet the milk would really soften it.
