Cocoa Brownies Dated 1952

- 2/3 cup sifted all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1/3-cup cocoa shopping list
- 1/2-teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 1/2-teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 eggs, unbeaten shopping list
- 1-cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1-teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1/3-cup salad oil shopping list
- 1 cup coarsely chopped nuts shopping list
How to make it
- Sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
- Set aside. In mixing bowl slightly beat the eggs.
- Gradually stir in sugar.
- Add vanilla and oil and mix well.
- Stir in flour-cocoa mixture.
- Add nuts.
- Spread in greased shallow square pan.
- Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
- Cool in pan.
- Cut into squares.
