I don't get it... do i stack the 2 doughs/eggwhite on top of each other to make one thick block. or am I suppposed to have 2 thin lots at the end?

I just made these last night.After browsing web at Jan Hagel recipes,they vary a bit.I used 1/2 white & 1/2 brown sugar.My advice is to score before baking,(I used a 15X10 jelly roll pan)Once out of oven cut through,but let cool in pan.I had to figure that out myself.But they are very pretty and catch people's eye!
