Ingredients

How to make it

  • beat butter, sugar, egg yolks, vanilla, lemon peel until creamy
  • stir flour and baking powder into the butter mixture 1 cup at a time
  • beat well after each cup
  • pack dough into a cookie press using your choice of plates.
  • press out 1'' apart on an ungreased baking sheet
  • bake at 350' for 12-15 mins or until they just start to turn light golden
  • If decorating with candied fruit or small candies do before baking
  • to make wreaths: use the star plate. hold the press in a horizonal position.. I decorate the top of the wreath with a 1/2 red cherry and then cut a green cherry in 1/4th and put 1 piece on each side of the red cherry

I'm just like Krum, can't get the cookie off the form. But the daughter wasn't happy with the kinds I made this year, she wants her spritz cookies. I'll be in the dog house until I get these made. LOL....nice post, any hints would help.
