This salsa is adjusted from my Mexican sister in law "way too hot" homemade salsa. (She used 1 big tomato and 15 birds eye chilies...whoopies!!!!)

You can make salsa almost anyway you like it. Use any kind of peppers you want, and as many as you wish. Boil everything together, and test with fork, the tomato's will be done before the peppers on most occasions, take them out and set aside.
Also you can use Tomatillos in place of tomato's for a more authentic taste...have fun with it. OH and I use a blender to chop and mix it all together.

What are red little birds eye chilies? Would I get them in a specialty shop?

This sounds YUMMY! But I also have never seen the red little birds eye chillies. If I can't find them do you know what would be a good substitute?

I would like to try this but wonder if you can use jalapenoes instead of the little birds eye chilis and can you boil the tomatoes and chilis all together?
