How to make it

  • Dredge pork chops with flour; brown in 1/2 cup hot canola oil; drain.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Combine 1/2 cup oil, vinegar, water, 1 teaspoon salt, brown sugar and catsup to make sauce; heat just to boiling temperature.
  • Pour sauce over pork chops; let simmer for about 20 minutes in the oven or on top of the stove.
