Caramel Cookies

- 125 ml butter (1/2 cup) shopping list
- 5 ml caramel essence (1 teaspoon) shopping list
- 125 ml brown sugar (1/2 cup) shopping list
- 15 ml golden syrup (1 tablespoon) shopping list
- 300 ml self raising flour (11/4 cup) shopping list
How to make it
- Mix the butter, essence,sugar and syrup until fluffy.
- Mix the flour in.
- Mix well.
- Take a cookie press and press out any for on a greased baking tin.
- If you don't have a cookie press, roll small balls and press on top with a fork.
- Bake at 180 deg C (360 deg F) for 10 - 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool down.
- Place in a cookie jar.
