- 2 cups cooked salt cod or fresh cod poached in white wine shopping list
- 2 cups mashed potatoes shopping list
- 1 cup garlic mayonnaise shopping list
- ¼ cup good olive oil shopping list
- Eight slices of baguette shopping list
- parsley for garnish shopping list
How to make it
- Mix the cod fish, mashed potatoes and ½ of the garlic mayo.
- Heat a black iron skillet over medium heat.
- Form eight cod cakes with your hands.
- Place the cakes in the skillet and fry until golden in color, flip over and cook the other side.
- Meanwhile lightly toast slices of bread, coat with remaining garlic mayo.
- Place a cod cake on top of each slice of bread and season with a bit of lemon juice and parsley.

Sounds soothing and wonderful. I'd love this dish during snowy weather, friends and a good puzzle or game. ---for the garlic mayo, do I just add crushed garlic to mayo?
