So Tried True Hot Beef Cheese Dip Recipe
Easy, tried and true, simple, delicious, always a favorite! Serve with Fritos Corn Chips or Scoops. Yum. :)

Ingredients
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion, (optional)
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 can Rotel
  • I pound Velveeta cheese
  • .

Directions
  1. In a skillet, brown ground beef, onion, salt and pepper to taste
  2. Drain well, and set aside
  3. In medium saucepan, slowly melt chunks of Velveeta, cumin, chili powder, Rotel, stirring frequently
  4. (I place cheese, Rotel, cumin, chili powder in a Pyrex bowl, and microwave)
  5. Combine meat mixture with melted cheese Rotel mixture*
  6. Place in casserole dish
  7. Place dish in oven, bake at 350 degrees until thoroughly hot
  8. Remove from oven
  9. Serve with Fritos Corn Chips, or Scoops
  10. *At this point, can serve, but it is better if heated in the oven

We had this for Christmas Eve.... it was wonderdul..... you cant eat just one scoop full!!!!
