How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Combine all meat ingredients and mix well.
  • Press 1/2 the meat mixture in the bottom of 9 x 5 loaf pan. Make a shallow indentation, lengthwise, down the center of the meat (leaving a small border on all the edges).
  • Combine filling ingredients.
  • Place filling in indentation.
  • Top with remaining meat mixture, enclosing filling and sealing edges.
  • Bake for 1 hour or until temperature reaches 145F. Let stand 15 minutes before removing from pan.

This sounds really interesting and something I definitely want to try. I love the reuben components and I love a good meatloaf - so this has to be a winner. Thank you for sharing this recipe!

Okay, believe it or not, I am the worst meatloaf maker ever LOL Yes, I admit my faults and meatloaf is one of them ;-) I love this recipe and I'm going to give it a try. Thank you so much or maybe I should wait to thank you. Just teasing. I have given your recipe a "5" because I have a sneaking suspicion this is going to be a huge hit!!!
