Rustic Polenta

- 3 tbs. olive oil shopping list
- 7 cups boiling water shopping list
- 2 cups coarse-ground cornmeal shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled shopping list
- 1 small onion, minced shopping list
- 4 links sweet Italian sausage,cut into bite-size pieces shopping list
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into bite-size pieces shopping list
- 2 cans chickpeas, drained shopping list
- 2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Use 1 tbs. of olive oil to grease the sides of slow cooker.
- Add water, and then remaining ingredients.
- Stir and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
