How to make it

  • Heat sesame oil and butter in 4-quart saucepan or 12-inch skillet; add garlic.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 2 minutes.
  • Stir in all remaining ingredients except sesame seed.
  • Reduce heat to low; continue cooking until peppers are crisply tender (5 to 7 minutes).
  • Stir in 2 teaspoons sesame seed. Sprinkle with remaining sesame seed.
  • * Substitute 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed.
  • ** Substitute 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves.
