Simple And Easy Foil Surprise Recipe

Ingredients

2 pounds lean ground beef

6 medium potatoes

6 carrots

3 medium onions

6- 12 inch squares of aluminum foil

1/2 stick butter

Salt and pepper

Directions

Season 6 large beef patties with salt and pepper

Place on foil

On each pattie, place a layer of raw carrots, a layer of raw potatoes, and a layer of raw onions

Put a pat of butter on top

Seal foil and place on cookie sheet or in pan

Bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour

You may season everything as you like

Nancy, I have never cooked these on the grill, but I don't know why you couldn't. I think putting the packets on the grill, leaving a little opening in the foil on the top would be fine. However, I would use heavy duty aluminum foil.
