Ingredients
  • (sorry about this :approx. - i've tried to post my 'approx-recipes' under a dash of this a dash of that, but i dont seem to be able to)
  • 12 - 14 chicken pieces, thighs and drumsticks
  • white wine
  • 2 untreated lemons
  • white pepper
  • salt
  • rosmary twigs
  • oregano
  • thyme (i use some fresh lemon-thyme)
  • one bottle of a light, dry white wine
  • some non-fat chicken fond or broth
  • lots and lots and lots of garlic cloves,
  • only outer lose skins removed
  • about 1 TBSP olive oil

Directions
  1. Heat oven to about 180 °CENTIGRADE
  2. pepper and salt chicken pieces
  3. in frying pan, lightly fry on all sides
  4. put into baking dish with lid
  5. after all pieces having been done,
  6. put some lemon slices in dish,
  7. pour wine and stock over chicken
  8. add garlic and herbs,
  9. cover
  10. leave in oven for about 30 minutes
  11. remove lid
  12. leave in oven for about another 15 minutes
  13. if your baking dish is really pretty,
  14. you can serve it right now,
  15. if not - put into pre-heated serving dish
