This is a vegetarian adaptation of Cincinnati Chili. The aroma and intense flavor are so delicious. The texture is unbelievable.
Anyone who loves spaghetti and loves chili will love this.

I am not vegetarian, but 3 of my kids are almost, so we have quite a few meatless meals, except my husband he has to have meat. this looks wonderful. We will definatly try it.
Thanks.

I like the sounds of adding chocolate to chili - nice combination of spices too!

Mum- I added a recipe on the site because of your question. Please go to http://www.grouprecipes.com/54678/homemade-sloppy-joe-mix.html to make the dry mix. It also gives how much to use to be equivalent to one package of sloppy joe mix. I hope this helps!
Ingredients:
1 cup dried minced onion
3 Tbsp. dried green pepper pieces
4 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
4 tsp. instant minced garlic
2 tsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. celery seed
2 tsp. chili powder
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Store in airtight container in a cool, dry place. Makes the equivalent of 8 packages purchased Sloppy Joe seasoning mix. 3 Tbsp. Sloppy Joe Mix equals one package purchased mix.
