Ingredients

How to make it

  • Just place in a medium pan, cover with water and simmer.
  • Pay attention to water levels, as long as you keep water in the pan this can last all day, up to 2 days ( turned off, and reused the next)

This sounds like a great idea for potpourri! I've got to try it out! Thanks for sharing & happy St. Patty's Day, even if you aren't Irish!

I freeze mine too and use them later. When I was a pampered chef a dozen or so years ago, we used to save all the apple peelings from their apple peeler/corer/slicer gadget and I would use those in my post of simmering water and spices. House smelled like apple pie baking, poor hubby was always disappointed when he didn't get a pie for dessert.
