This is a very good tangy tart salad dressing with just a little different twist. This is almost identical to a local eatery's house dressing. perfect every time. You can use olive oil and less sugar if that is what you desire. I make this all the ... More

Ingredients
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 red onion chopped very very fine
Directions
- Pregare dressing in a large jar with a tight fitting lid.
- Add the oil, vinegar, sugar, ketchup, salt, worcestershire sauce, and onion.
- Shake until the sugar is dissolved.
- Refrigerate and shake well before serving.

When I was making this, I tasted it and thought it would be too sweet. But, after it chilled, the tang of the vinegar came out. It was great! I had a scallion to use up, so I added that instead of red onion.
