Stuffed Meat Loaf Recipe
A change of pace from the usual meat-loaf.

Ingredients
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/2 lb ground chuck
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cups herb seasoned stuffing, crushed
  • 1/2 c canned milk
  • 1/4 c chopped celery
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c melted margarine
  • 1 can cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine first three ingredients; mix well.
  3. Form into a ball.
  4. Place on a sheet of wax paper and flatten into a rectangle.
  5. Spread with stuffing made as follows: Saute chopped celery and onion in melted margarine.
  6. Pour over 4 cups stuffing; add milk and mix well.
  7. Roll up like a jelly roll and carefully transfer to 9"x13" pan, seam side down.
  8. Pour 1 can of cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup over top of meat loaf.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours until done.
