Pumpkin Bread

This recipe was sent to my husband when he was in Viet Nam... another soldiers mom had sent her son some and my husband loved it so his mom sent the recipe to him,,,,,Ive made it for him ever since.
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour shopping list
- 3 cups sugar shopping list
- 2 teaspoons soda shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg shopping list
- 1 can pumpkin shopping list
- 4 eggs, well beaten shopping list
- 1 cup cooking oil shopping list
- 2/3 cup water shopping list
- 2 teaspoons vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- In a large bowl sift first 6 ingredients together
- add remaining igredients and stir well
- You may also add nuts and raisins or coconut as they are optional
- I add all of them to mine
- Pour into greased and floured loaf pans or can use coffee cans
- and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hours..
- If you coffee cans fill just a little more than half full
baked in a coffee can and a reg pan

Zena, so sorry I just put this on, and when I viewed it I saw similar recipes on the side, so I pulled it up and ours are have the exact ingredients only different amounts, very sorry about that. Is there a way for me to delete mine? I usually do a ...more
