Baked Custard Old

- 3 eggs, beaten shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 3 cups whole milk shopping list
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg shopping list
How to make it
- In a medium size bowl, mix *beaten eggs*, sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth
- Pour into 6 three inch ramekins
- Sprinkle each with a pinch of nutmeg
- Place the cups in a glass baking dish filled halfway up with water
- Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a knife comes out clean when inserted in the center
- When done, let cool completely
- If you want to serve warm, serve before cooled completely
- If you want to serve cold or chilled, after baked and cooled, cover with Saran Wrap and chill
- This is so smooth and wonderful
