- PER PERSON: shopping list
- 1/2 chicken breast, boned shopping list
- 1 oz thinly sliced ham shopping list
- 1 slice bacon shopping list
- SAUCE shopping list
- 1 cup chopped onion shopping list
- 1 cup chopped celery shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 2 tabespoons flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper shopping list
- 4 cups chicken broth shopping list
- Dash Worcestershire shopping list
- Dash Tabasco shopping list
- 1/3 c. sherry shopping list
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese shopping list
- paprika shopping list
- NOTE: May add a pinch of rosemary if serving over mashed garlic potatoes shopping list
How to make it
- Salt, pepper chicken breasts
- Place ham on chicken breast, roll, wrap in bacon, secure with toothpicks
- Dip rolled chicken breasts in flour, then
- In skillet, brown the breasts in a little shortening, then remove and
- set aside
- In another pan, saute' onion and celery in the 2 tablespoons butter
- Add the 2 tablespoons flour, salt pepper, and chicken broth
- Add dash Tabasco and Worcestershire
- Stir until mixture thickens
- Add sherry and Parmesan
- Place the browned breats in a shallow baking pan
- Pour sauce over top
- Sprinkle with paprika, bake at 375-400 degrees for about 45 minutes to an hour (or until browned)
- Serve over wild rice, white rice, or mashed garlic potatoes
