Ingredients

How to make it

  • fry chicken pieces in olive oil, rubbing some flavour sea-salt into chicken and some white pepper
  • remove from pan
  • fry onions chunks, and all vegetables,
  • adding one after the other,
  • garlic being the last,
  • then add the herbs.
  • pour in white wine and orange liqeur, flambĂ©
  • (burn off the alcohol, gives a better taste)
  • now pour in sauce,puree, chunky tomatoes,
  • stirring all the time
  • add honey, olives,
  • pepper, salt, chili flakes.
  • stirr
  • put chicken into pan, reduce heat,
  • cover (to reduce spatters on the kitchen walls, the stove, etc.:-)
  • before serving, remove cover to reduce the liquid.
  • serve with whatever you like - i would use crusty italian bread
