Honey-Roasted Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 Pounds Chicken pieces, all visible fat removed
  • 1 C Honey
  • 1/2 C Low Sodium Teriyaki Sauce
  • 1/4 C Orange Juice
  • 1 T Dijon Mustard

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Rinse chicken and pat dry. Place in a single layer in a shallow baking pan.
  3. In a medium bowl, stir together remaining ingredients. I like to use a whisk. Pour over chicken pieces.
  4. Bake, uncovered, basting with the honey mixture occasionally, 45 minutes or until chicken is tender and no longer pink.
  5. Enjoy!

I didn't have any dijon but I made it anyway..put some crushed red pepper flakes in the sauce...very tasty! The girls gave a ^5.

I am going to make this tomorrow and I am using a whole chicken, I hope it turns out good. I will let you know afterwards.


I used a whole roasting chicken and it turned out excellent. The next day I used the leftovers to make some chicken fried rice. Very delicious flavor. I will be making this again, maybe with some chicken breast next time.
