- 1 angel food cake mix, follow box mixing/baking directions shopping list
- food color shopping list
- toothpick shopping list
- cool-whip, lite or lite jam shopping list
- berries, favorite shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare angel food cake from a boxed mix as a light dessert,
- Dress it up after stirring together the batter by pouring half into the pan.
- Then put drops of food coloring in different areas and gently swirl into the batter with a toothpick.
- Add the rest of the batter and repeat with more food coloring.
- Once you’ve baked, cooled and cut the cake, you’ll see the colorful design.
- It’s fun to coordinate the colors for different holidays.
- Use green and red for Christmas, red and blue for the Fourth of July,
- Serve with cool-whip or lite jam and berries,
