How to make it

  • In slow cooker, combine red bell pepper, onion, tomatoes, celery, garlic, parsley, thyme, oregano, cayenne pepper, salt, smoked sausage, chicken and broth. Cover and cook on low for 10 hours.
  • Increase temperature to high. Add shrimp and rice. Cover and cook for 30 minutes.
