How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 325.
  • Combine milk, eggs sugar, vanilla and salt. Mix well.
  • Add cooked rice and raisins (optional).
  • Turn into 10x6x1 3/4" baking dish.
  • Bake uncovered, for 30 minutes, stir.
  • Sprinkle with nutmeg if desired.
  • Continue baking til knife inserted halfway comes out clean, about 30 minutes more.
