Did not know what to do with ground beef and found this in Farm Journal and made it. Everyone loved it and it was even great the next day.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 to 2 garlic clvoes chopped
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 (8 oz) cans drained mushrooms (BUT SAVE LIQUID)
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1/3 cup parsley
  • Bag of Noodles or Rice

Directions
  1. Melt butter in large skillet
  2. Add onions and garlic; cook until delicately browned
  3. Add beef and stir until red color disappers (you want marble size pieces)
  4. Add seasonings
  5. Add drained mushrooms
  6. Add 1/2 cup of mushroom liquid blended with flour and soup
  7. Stir together thoroughly
  8. Cook slowly over medium low heat for 20 minutes
  9. Just before serving add sour cream & parsley
  10. Mix well and heat thru
  11. Serve over noodles or rice
