Memphis-Style Pulled Pork

- 1 medium onion, thickly sliced shopping list
- 6 fresh garlic cloves, crushed shopping list
- 2 (14-oz.) cans Swanson Lower-Sodium beef broth shopping list
- 1 (18-oz.) can bottles Sticky fingers Memphis Original barbecue sauce shopping list
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1/3 cup cider vinegar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. pepper shopping list
- 1 3-1/2 lb. Boneless Boston Butt pork roast shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch shopping list
- 3 Tbsp. water shopping list
- 6 Bakery French hamburger buns shopping list
How to make it
- Put thickly slices onion and crushed garlic in the bottom of the slow-cooker.
- Stir in broth, BBQ sauce, sugar, vinegar and pepper.
- Add pork roast gently.
- Cover and cook on high 6-8 hours until fork tender.
- Remove pork from slow-cooker.
- Combine cornstarch and water in a small bowl, until blended.
- Stir into sauce mixture in slow-cooker, bring to a boil.
- Boil 4 to 5 minutes or until slightly thickened.
- Shred pork using two forks.
- Split hamburger rolls.
- Strain sauce into medium bowl (discard the onions and garlic)
- Serve pork on sandwich rolls topped with sauce.
