How to make it

  • Put thickly slices onion and crushed garlic in the bottom of the slow-cooker.
  • Stir in broth, BBQ sauce, sugar, vinegar and pepper.
  • Add pork roast gently.
  • Cover and cook on high 6-8 hours until fork tender.
  • Remove pork from slow-cooker.
  • Combine cornstarch and water in a small bowl, until blended.
  • Stir into sauce mixture in slow-cooker, bring to a boil.
  • Boil 4 to 5 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  • Shred pork using two forks.
  • Split hamburger rolls.
  • Strain sauce into medium bowl (discard the onions and garlic)
  • Serve pork on sandwich rolls topped with sauce.

    When I get to feeling better got the flu the hubby and I even out little dog both got chest colds to. Taking medications that taste terrible don't see any improvement either.

    But will let you know when we are having this dish you and everyone else are invited to eat with us. I am planning on having this for the Super Bowl if we feel up to it. Right now food does not interest either one of us, ugh!!!!
