Apple Fritters Recipe

Another old recipe from my great- grandma. the kids have always loved these. I usually dunk them in more cinnamon sugar instead of powdered sugar.

Ingredients
- 2 C. flour
- ¼ C. sugar
- 1 ½ T. baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 C. milk
- 2 egg
- 4-5 tart apples
- ¼ C. sugar
- 4 tsp cinnamon
Directions
- Sift first 4 ingredients twice.
- Add milk and well beaten eggs. Mix well.
- Mix ¼ C. sugar with cinnamon in bowl.
- Pare and core apples. Cut in ½” rings.
- Dip each slice in cinnamon-sugar, then in batter and fry in deep, hot fat until brown.
- Drain on absorbent paper.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
