Ingredients

How to make it

  • Stir together 3/4 cup water and sugar in a small sauce pan; bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves; cool.
  • Stir in cilantro and next 4 ingredients; set aside.
  • Place oysters on grill.
  • Cook over medium high heat (350 degrees to 400 degrees) 8 to 10 minutes or until shells open.
  • Remove from grill.
  • Pry open oysters rest of way using an oyster knife, discarding the empty half shells.
  • Run knife under meat of oyster to release.
  • Arrange oysters on platter, and serve with dipping sauce.
  • 12 servings.

    Wow, another recipe of yours that is making me drool! I think I'll skip work today and head over to Hood Canal and collect myself some oysters just so I can make this. =)
