How to make it

  • Take the pickles out of the jar and place onto a paper towel and pat to get some of the juice off of them.
  • then place into a bowl and add seasoning and mustard.
  • then drop some of them into the flour that is in your zip lock...shake and drop into hot oil in deep fryer let fry until brown...then place onto the paper towel on the platter let cool for a bit then serve....
  • great with ketchup or by them selves or with my mushroom sauce..
  • thats it.!!

    I just had fried pickles in a local restaurant here in Baltimore last week. They were great! This sounds very much like how they were prepared.

    I adore fried pickles. Sometimes when I want a quick snack, I'll spin some dill slices in the salad spinner then dunk em' into egg wash then some seasoned shrimp fry before hitting the deep fryer. Awesome!!

    This sounds awesome we have a drive in here in Kansas called Sonic they used to make pickleo's which was dill pickle slices breaded and deep fried they quit making them because it took to long to batter each slice this recipe brings back memories Thanks for sharing it The Bakermanrooster

    sound good . I love fried pickles, ever tried soaking them in buttermilk first? I usually do for 1 hour
