What I really like about this recipe is that it sounds all wong, from boiling the meatballs to the lemon and egg sauce that tops them--but TRUST me, they are tremendous!!!

Hi Greekgirrrl, I made this for Easter dinner with my wife. I know Greek Easter is next week, but I got impatient. I actually made it with ground turkey and kasha instead of beef and rice. It was still very good.

This sounds really good and at one point in my life (when I didn't have any other recipes) I would cook it all the time. It's been several years since then and it's time I revisited this recipe. I'll be fixing it tonight and will let you know :)
