How to make it

  • Place the collard greens and ham pieces in a large pot.
  • Mix in the chicken broth, beer, water, and vinegar.
  • Season with red pepper flakes, salt and pepper.
  • Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer 1 hour.
  • Sprinkle with apple cider vinegar or dill pickle juice
