I will try this one soon. It sounds great. I would have to use more than 12 ounces of meat, though. I wonder if the recipe scales OK?

I have made this with chicken breast and diet coke for a low fat/calorie alternative. When I made it I cooked the chicken on the stove in a frying pan coated with PAM and added the ketchup and diet coke after the chicken was done. The sauce thickens within a few minutes and it was super yummy.

Well, our neighbor gave us several nice cuts of venison yesterday, so I'll probably be trying this soon! Sounds really easy... ya know, it sounds weird, but I've had several recipes that used coke or 7-up for flavor... and they were delicious!

OK, just tried it--and it's terrific! I admit, I had my doubts. What a weird combination. But it's really good and I highly recommend it.

I bet this would work with beef, too, or even pork.
