Barley Chips

- 1 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup barley flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup rolled barley shopping list
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 stick butter softened shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325.
- In food processor stir together flours, barley, sugar and salt.
- Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal.
- Add enough of the milk to form dough that will hold together in a cohesive ball.
- Divide dough into 2 equal portions for rolling then on a floured surface or pastry cloth.
- Roll out to 1/4" and cut into 2" circles or squares and place on lightly greased baking sheet.
- Prick each cracker in 3 places with tines of a fork and bake 25 minutes then cool on wire rack.
