BANG BANG SHRIMP Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Thai Sweet Chili Sauce
  • a few drops of Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce
  • Mix the above to make the sauce.
  • 1 pound of shelled and deveined shrimp
  • Dry cornstarch to coat the shrimp in
  • Deep fat fry the shrimp until lighty brown.
  • Drain on paper towel, put in a bowl and coat with
  • the sauce.
  • Serve in a lettuce lined bowl, top with
  • chopped scallions. Enjoy!!!!!

    Made the dish for a Christmas Eve gathering and everybody loved it. It was so simple to make. I might try panko for a crunchier version.

    Joined and tried it last night. Turned out delicious, Husband and I devoured every piece. I did not have correct chile sauce so I used garlic chili sauce along with Sriracha Hot Chili sauce. Turned out really spicy, but that is the way we like it. Mine was crunchy

    Did the recipe last night. Very good although the shrimp were not as crunchy as the restaurant. Maybe they used "panko" instead of cornstarch... will make it again
