How to make it

  • Fry bacon until crisp.
  • Remove bacon from pan and drain on paper towels.
  • Pour bacon grease from pan, then wipe pan quickly with paper towel.
  • While pan is still warm, pour syrup in pan.
  • Place bacon back in frying pan over low heat and stir bacon in syrup. The syrup will coat the bacon and then serve it with a big stack of blueberry or plain pancakes.

    I love maple syrup on my sausage, this sounds like a similar idea! Sweet and salty. And after all, bacon is probably the world's most perfect food.
