Butterscotch Banana Bars

Butterscotch flavored banana bars that always disappear.
Ingredients
- 6Tbs. butter,softened shopping list
- 1c firm packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1/2tsp. vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 large banana,mashed shopping list
- 11/2tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 13/4c flour shopping list
- 1/2tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2c chopped nuts(I use pecans) shopping list
- 1 6oz. pkg. butterscotch chips shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350
- Beat butter and sugar in a large bowl with electric mixer till creamy. Beat in the egg,vanilla and banana. In another bowl,stir together all the dry ingredients. Gradually add dry ingredients to the butter mixture,blending thoroughly. Stir in nuts and chips. Sread in a greased 9" square pan.
- Bake at 350 for 35-40 mins. Cool before cutting. Store in an airtight container or cover with foil.
