How to make it

  • In a large bowl, combine all ingredients from meat to cumin, and mix together with hands until just combined.
  • Gently shape meat into 4 burgers about 3/4 inch thick and 4.5 inches across.
  • Grill about 6-8 minutes per side for medium well. (4 minutes for med rare, 5 medium).
  • RESIST all urges to smash burgers while cooking, as this lets the jucies cook out. ALSO - turn only once while cooking
  • Serve immediately with garnishes
