Ingredients
  • 2lb italian sausage (spicy or not depending on how you like it)
  • 2 1/2 cups of bisquick
  • 2/3 cup of milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup diced green onions
  • 1/4 cup diced jalapeno
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • pinch of garlic salt

Directions
  1. check your bed for the horse's head. if its not there, continue (if it is there, i'd get out of the country).
  2. preheat your oven to 450.
  3. grease a foil wrapped baking sheet and set to the side (first time i made these i didn't grease the foil, the balls stuck pretty good).
  4. using a sharp knife, dice the green onions and jalapenos very fine and add them to the mixing bowl.
  5. add the bisquick to the mixing bowl.
  6. add the milk to the mixing bowl.
  7. add your salt, pepper and garlic salt to the mixing bowl.
  8. pull apart the ground sausage and add it to the mixing bowl.
  9. remove any rings from your hands (raw meat underneath the jewelry is never good).
  10. using your hands, mix all ingredients together.
  11. shape the mixture into balls about an inch in diameter and place on the baking sheet (you might have to use more than 1 sheet or cook two rounds of balls).
  12. cook in the oven for 20 minutes.
  13. remove from oven (watch out for the heat ewave when you first open the oven) and cut one open to make sure the sausage is cooked thoroughly.
  14. invite "the family" over for dinner. these are so delicious they might get you "made"!

These look amazing...

I’m I looking at this correctly? I can’t believe that no one else rated this recipe. If nothing else the name alone deserves a 5. It brought a chuckle to both Lura and I. Not only that, but the recipe looks like it is great. Looking forward to giving it a try, just printed it off. So it is on my to do list.
