Amish Casserole

- 1 (8-ounce) package wide noodles shopping list
- boiling water shopping list
- 1 cup peeled, diced potatoes shopping list
- 2 tablespoons margarine shopping list
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef shopping list
- 1 cup diced onions shopping list
- 1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup shopping list
- 1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of celery soup shopping list
- 3/4 cup milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup frozen or fresh peas shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese shopping list
- toasted bread crumbs shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In large bowl, cover noodles with boiling water for 10 minutes. Drain. In saucepan, cook potatoes until tender. Drain.
- In skillet, melt margarine. Brown ground beef and onions.
- Boil noodles as package directs.
- In large bowl, combine soups, milk and peas. Add noodles, potatoes and ground beef mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well. Turn into13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Bake for 1 hour, or until done. Top with cheese and bread crumbs to taste.
