How to make it

  • Flatten the chicken to 1/4" thickness. Place a slice of cheese and ham on each to within 1/4" of edges. Fold in half; secure with thin, metal skewers or toothpicks See Photo. Brush with oil and roll in bread crumbs. Grill, covered, over medium-high heat for 15 to 18 minutes, or until juices run clear.

    We enjoyed this very much, had it with pleclare's zucchini Parmesan and I had made potato salad.

    BTW, I tied the rolls with kitchen string and grilled them....made them easier to turn on the grill. Thanks for the recipe!!!!

    Frankie I make the Chicken Cordon Blue also... I really love this recipe...I learned to make this from going to Germany... They serve it alot over there..The only difference is I slice my chicken and add the meat and cheese inside...I accidently rated this a 3...I meant to do it as a 5
