How to make it

  • In a 5 or 6 qt. slow cooker,stir together chicken,onion,tomatoes,tomato paste,ginger,garlic,coriander,and cayenne;season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook on high 4hours(or on low,8 hours) until fork tender. Stir in yogurt and cilantro and,if using garam masala. Serve with rice.
  • Oven method: Preheat oven to 350. Follow step 1,using a 5 qt. lidded heavy pot. Stir in 2 cups of water. Cover;bake until tender,about 2 hours. Stir in yogurt,cilantro,and if using,garam masala

    I am always looking for things to toss in my crockpot! Anything Indian is very welcome in my house, I'll have to try this for my parents some day soon! :) seems delicious!
