Parmesan Black Pepper Crackers

- 8 tbls. unsalted butter shopping list
- 3/4 cup plus 2 tbls. flour shopping list
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper, freshly ground shopping list
How to make it
- Cook time does not include chill time.
- Preheat oven to 375
- Cream butter in mixer until smooth and fluffy
- Add flour, cheese, and pepper and mix at low speed until combined
- Form dough into disk, wrap in plastic, and chill at least 2 hours
- Before rolling, let dough sit out 15-30 minutes
- On a well floured surface with a floured rolling pin, roll out dough into a rectangle a little less than 1/4 inch
- Dough is delicate so push back any cracks with your fingers
- Transfer dough to a cookie sheet
- Prick surface all over with fork
- With a pizza cutter, cut dough into 1 1/2 inch squares
- Bake 15-20 minutes, until golden brown
- Run pizza cutter along cuts again
- Cool
