Sweet & Sour Chicken that is slow cooked to fall apart tenderness. This dish was served at a pot luck and I begged for the recipe.

This was delicious and smelled great! I put some sliced onion in it, too. I served it over rice and went back for more sauce for the rice that didn't have any. Good stuff. I'm keeping this recipe in the crock pot cookbook I made. Thank you.

It really is good served over rice. I make this often. Frankieanne, was it better you think with the onion? I might try adding onion to it.
Who else has tried this recipe and if you have, what do you think?

I'm not sure if it was better, I just like onion. :) This was really good the next day, too.

Hey, snowbird. I just thought you would like to know what I did with your recipe this time. Last night I made the sauce, sliced half of an onion and cubed up one pound of pork loin. Threw everything in at lunchtime, came home after work and made some rice. Tah dah! Sweet and sour pork for dinner! The sauce got thicker than last time as the pork was really lean. I'll take a picture of the leftovers tomorrow when I heat them up for lunch and show you. Thanks again for a great recipe! :)
