A Most Requested Roast In Crockpot Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • Place roast in crockpot
  • Pour 1/2 cup water around the bottom of the roast
  • Sprinkle the 3 packages of mixes on top of roast
  • Cook for 7-8 hours
  • When done, remove roast to cutting board
  • Let rest about 15 minutes
  • With an electric knife, slice cross grain
  • Combine flour and water with roast drippings to make gravy
  • Can add the flour water paste directly to crockpot, after removing roast
  • Stir occasionally

    I have never added vegetables to this. Usually have mashed potatoes, fresh carrots, and green beans! Just love that combination. So comforting.

    ONIONS AND BELL PEPPER COOKED WITH THE ROAST WOULD BE GREAT WITH THIS ALSO. I CANT WAIT TO COOK THIS!
