Ingredients

One beef roast

1/2 cup water

1 package Ranch Dressing Mix

1 package Italian Dressing Mix

1 package Brown Gravy Mix

Directions

Place roast in crockpot

Pour 1/2 cup water around the bottom of the roast

Sprinkle the 3 packages of mixes on top of roast

Cook for 7-8 hours

When done, remove roast to cutting board

Let rest about 15 minutes

With an electric knife, slice cross grain

Combine flour and water with roast drippings to make gravy

Can add the flour water paste directly to crockpot, after removing roast

Stir occasionally

I have never added vegetables to this. Usually have mashed potatoes, fresh carrots, and green beans! Just love that combination. So comforting.

I made this with two packs of onion soup mix and a pack of beef stew flavoring (because that is what I had in the cupboard) and it is wonderful!! And so easy. I plan to try the original recipe next time.
