These buns aren't anything like those yucky buns from the supermarket. They are both beautiful and take the hamburger to new heights. Can also be formed into hot dog buns. Great for sandwiches, also

Thanks for this one! No matter how good the hamburger and toppings are, it just dissappoints me when the roll isn't good. Ruins the whole meal.

a step that was omitted was brushing the tops with a mixture of egg and a little water just before baking.
this will create the beautiful glossy brown color.

To Terigo: The egg and water is called egg wash, but adding this will make the top crusty, which is okay if that is what you want. Most hamburger buns, however, are soft.
