MARYS FAVORITE COCONUT MACAROON CAKE

- 4 eggs shopping list
- 1 CUP buttermilk shopping list
- 2 1/2 CUPS sugar shopping list
- 2 CUPS OF self rising flour shopping list
- 1 CUP oil shopping list
- 1 LARGE CAN OR HALF BAG OF coconut shopping list
- 1 1/2 TEASPOON OF coconut flavor shopping list
- DO NOT USE A MIXER. MIX BY HAND! shopping list
How to make it
- BATTER REMINDER: DO NOT USE A MIXER. MIX BY HAND
- BEAT EGGS AND THEN GRADUALLY ADD SUGAR. MIX WELL
- ADD MILK, MIX WELL
- ADD OIL, MIX WELL
- ADD FLOUR A LITTLE AT A TIME AND MIX WELL
- ADD COCONUT FLAVOR AND COCONUT, MIX WELL
- MAKE SURE ALL INGREDIENTS ARE MIXED REALLY WELL.
- POUR INTO A GREASED BUNDT PAN.
- BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 45 MINUTES
- ICING:
- 1/2 CUP WATER
- 1 CUP SUGAR
- 1 TEASPOON OF COCONUT FLAVOR
- BRING TO A BOIL, BOIL FOR ONE MINUTE. SPOON OVER CAKE WHEN DONE
