Ingredients
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 1/2 pounds baby carrots
  • 1 tblsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tblsp butter
  • 3 tblsp brown sugar
  • 3 tblsp bourbon
  • chopped fresh parsley

Directions
  1. Bring 3 cups water to a boil in a meduim saucepan.
  2. Add carrots, granulated sugar and salt.
  3. Return to a boil and cook five minutes or until tender.
  4. Melt butter and brown sugar in a large skillet over meduim heat. Stir in carrots and cook stirring occasionally. 2-3 minutes until well coated.
  5. Add bourbon and cook 4 more minutes.
  6. Garnish with parsley spring.

Sounds good. Looking for a compliment to meatloaf. Will give it a shot.

Liked it. Did a somewhat scaled down version and added a dash of ground ginger (not enough to taste actually). Used a sour mash, Jack Daniels, and the flavors came through nicely. Enjoyed it very much. Thanks.
