How to make it

  • Bring 3 cups water to a boil in a meduim saucepan.
  • Add carrots, granulated sugar and salt.
  • Return to a boil and cook five minutes or until tender.
  • Melt butter and brown sugar in a large skillet over meduim heat. Stir in carrots and cook stirring occasionally. 2-3 minutes until well coated.
  • Add bourbon and cook 4 more minutes.
  • Garnish with parsley spring.

    Sounds good. Looking for a compliment to meatloaf. Will give it a shot.

    Liked it. Did a somewhat scaled down version and added a dash of ground ginger (not enough to taste actually). Used a sour mash, Jack Daniels, and the flavors came through nicely. Enjoyed it very much. Thanks.
