Almost Kfc Coleslaw Recipe

	Sola / All my dishes 1 year, 8 months ago This is the coleslaw I make,the only one really.It is so good! The buttermilk makes it. Prep:15m Servings:1012	Sola

Ingredients

8 cups very finely chopped cabbage (about the size of rice)

1/4 cup shredded carrots

2 Tbls.minced onions (I grate mine,mainly just using the juice)

1/3 cup sugar

1/2 Tsp.salt

1/8 Tsp.pepper

1/2 cup mayo

1/4 cup milk

1/4 cup buttermilk

1 1/2 Tbls.Tarragon vinegar.(dont worry I never have that stuff,I use cider vinegar)

Directions

Mix cabbage,carrot and onion in a alrge bowl.

Combine sugar,salt,pepper,mayo,milk & buttermilk and vinegar,stir until smooth.

Pour over cabbage;mix well,toss to combine.

Cover and refrigerate 3-4 hours.

I can never wait that long and eat it right away!!

I worked at KFC when I was a kid. Wish I kept all the recipes! But I do remember that the coleslaw had yellow mustard. That's a definite ingredient that you are missing!
